1070162805: The images uploaded represent current, and ongoing projects from my final year studying for a National Diploma. Although the majority of the posts show paintings, I wanted to show that my work can take on different forms, and I enjoy using ceramics and printing methods to develop my ideas. I feel that my work really represents me as a person, it reflects my passion for the weird and wonderful, and my love of all things retro. I like to take certain aspects of the genres I love, such as black and white photography, film stills, and using vintage style models for projects. This also is as much part of my personal life as it is apparent in my work. For the past three years I have worked as a vintage pinup model as a sideline to a career in finance, this gives me freedom to travel and work with many wonderful photographers, as well as been published. I feel that this course would give me the opportunity to develop the ideas that I have, and also give me the skills to be able to pursue a career as a working artist.
